Born and raised in Upstate NY, Jon Lipka learned to play guitar at a young age and has continued his musical journey throughout his life. Brought up on rock n' roll, Jon started taking lessons at age 12 where he learned to play some of his favorite rock music. After high school, he studied music with a focus on classical guitar at Finger Lakes Community College where he obtained his Associate's in Music. Since then, Jon has taken on a number of projects that feature him as a singer/songwriter and guitar player, including Upstate NY jam band "Glenmary's Ghost" and a solo EP project that released earlier this year called "The Cycle". Jon moved to Cleveland, OH in early 2022 looking to continue the pursuit of a career in music. Throughout Jon's journey he has taught many friends and mutual acquaintances how to play the guitar through fun and relaxed means. He believes in letting the student choose their own path. Tell him how and what you want to play, and he will give you the tools and insight to get you there. In his free time, Jon loves to hike, cook, and spend time with friends and loved ones.
