Joshua Bluitt was born in Louisville Ky, but has been a resident in Los Angeles, California since the year of 2019. He is the fifth child of seven children which includes five boys and two girls. He holds a B.S degree in Psychology from the University of Louisville. He has a strong passion for children and has worked in the educational system for much of his life as a teacher. Mr. Bluitt has served as the Artistic Director for the West Louisville Performing Arts Academy located in Louisville, Ky for over 10 years. He has been a concert pianist for over almost 20 years, and has played as a piano accompanist for over 15 years. Mr. Bluitt was accepted to study piano in the Montecito Music Festival and has also received musical training in piano from the faculty at the University of Louisville Music School. The different genres of music that Mr. Bluitt is able to play include jazz, classical, pop, theater, Christian, and film score. He has traveled the country performing with the WLPAA and even overseas in Paris, London and the Bahamas. He has written several original compositions ranging from choral music to orchestra music and has had some of his musical compositions performed on stage. Mr. Bluitt’s most current accomplishment involves one of his original music compositions being placed in a film called “Single Bells." He is excited to get started on your musical goals!
