Bryson is a classically trained musician who has taught in Texas public schools and in private lessons since the early 2000's.

He has been teaching music for almost two decades to students of all ages. He was classically trained by Resa Carol who teaches in Dallas, but has also been performing jazz all his life, so he focuses on giving his students a well rounded understanding of music theory and notation starting with basics, as well as exercises for improvising and creating their own songs.

Bryson likes to start a lesson by seeing if there are any specific songs or kinds of music the students like to play and then develop a plan with them to master the techniques needed to accomplish those goals. He finds that some students are more interested in composition and others are more interested in learning specific songs, so he tries to lean into their interests and get them the specific information they need, while also providing context and other avenues to explore so they can push themselves and expand their abilities.

Currently teaching and performing in Austin, he believes anyone can become a musician and loves helping all his students unlock their talents and develop lifelong skills and a love for their art. He obtained his degree in Physics and certification to teach from UT Austin, and is passionate about helping every student strive forward in their musical journey.
