Xavier Serna was born and raised in Southern California. He picked up his first guitar when he was 10 years old. Through the years as a musician, he’s gained an appreciation for all genres of music from Blues/Rock, Jazz, and Classical. He teaches his students a blend of music theory and technique to get a full understanding of their instrument. He prioritizes a healthy learning environment for his students to gain the comfort to take risks and step outside of musical comfort zones. After the blend of theory and technique comes a focus on playing/performing in the present moment, and blocking out all outside noise so that one can learn to play with authenticity and feeling.
