Greg Notias was born in Houston Texas, and he moved to California twelve years ago. He holds a masters degree in violin performance from California State University at Northridge. Greg has enjoyed an exciting career as a composer, violinist and violist. Currently, he performs as a violist in the Orchestra Santa Monica, and CalTech Orchestra (first violin section), sitting as acting Concertmaster. Addiotnally, he takes on freelance orchestral and chamber music work throughout LA, performing chamber music, and new pieces in all genres. He holds an active teaching studio for both violin and viola, and he loves sharing his passion for music with his students.
