Caleb Hamilton is a musician from Southern Illinois. He started playing guitar when he was 15 and has picked up bass and percussion along the way. He attended Vincennes University and has an AS in audio engineering. During his time there, he was a part of many musical ensembles including Concert Band, Jazz Band, and Percussion Ensemble, as well as playing for the pit in musicals like Hairspray and The Cabaret. He has been in many cover bands ranging from country, rock, RnB, and pop, and he is proficient in all genres of music. He is currently in the up-and-coming band Nia Soul as a guitarist, backup vocalist, and writer and also is an Event DJ for the company DJ Connection. During his time in college, he worked at a summer camp called ArtVenture, teaching kids the fundamentals of percussion, and has also taught young adults and teens guitar. Caleb's most important goal when teaching is to get his students playing music and rockin' out as soon as possible. He believes that the priority of any art is to use it as a medium of self-expression, and once the passion for it has been established, studying its nuances will come naturally. Caleb currently lives in Indianapolis, IN. and in his free time loves to play guitar and sing with his daughter, Violet.
