About

Josh King has been teaching and performing music since 1998. He was a marching performer with the Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps in the snareline for the 2005, 2006 and 2007 DCI competitive seasons. In 2006 the Phantom Regiment percussion section took home the Fred Sanford High Drums Award. Josh later went on to teach the Phantom Regiment Percussion Section in 2010 as a Battery Coordinator. This group also went on to win the Fred Sanford High Drums Award. In 2011 and 2012 he moved out to the West Coast to teach the Santa Clara Vanguard.
Josh has also taught at many different high schools in the DFW Metroplex Area as well as the San Antonio area throughout his career.
In addition to specializing in percussion and drumset, Josh also has been a performer and teacher on the guitar and has been playing the instrument since his youth for various churches and bands in the San Antonio area.
