Dan has been playing guitar for over 35 years and is just as passionate today as when he was a teen. Dan began taking lessons at age 12 and continued throughout high school. In addition to learning chords and scales, Dan's teacher, Pat, would emphasize ear training - being able to pick out riffs and melodies from the songs. Training the ear is just as vital to musical success as using both hands. Throughout the years, Dan has continued to learn by jamming and practicing with friends.

Dan lives in Orange County, Ca. with his wife Jane and son Zach.
