Mr. DeVon D. Murray is in his 5th year as the Director of Bands at Factory Shoals Middle School in Douglasville, GA. While at Factory Shoals Middle School, the band has grown exponentially under Mr. Murray’s leadership. He is a 2016 graduate of Albany State University in Albany, Georgia having received a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education with a Minor in Psychology. After Albany State University, Murray attended Thomas University in Thomasville, GA where he received his Master’s in Curriculum & Instruction. At Factory Shoals Middle School, Mr. Murray’s students have participated in the September Fest, Concert Band, and Pep Band. Students have been selected to participate in District Honor Band and All-County.
